1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InkRacer ("the Platform"), operated at inkracer.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

InkRacer is a gamified data collection platform where users generate printable handwriting forms, fill them out, scan and submit completed forms, and earn XP points and achievements. Users may join teams and compete on leaderboards.

3. Accounts

You must sign in using Google OAuth to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information during account setup
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not create multiple accounts or impersonate others
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. User Submissions

When you submit handwriting forms, images, or any other data to the Platform, you agree that:

• Your submissions are your own original work
• Your submissions do not contain private, sensitive, or inappropriate content
• You irrevocably assign all rights, title, copyright, and ownership of your submitted images, handwriting data, and any derived data to InkRacer upon submission
• InkRacer may use, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, license, sell, or otherwise exploit your submissions for any purpose, including but not limited to research, commercial products, academic publications, machine learning training, and derivative works
• Your submitted data may be anonymized and aggregated with other users' data for research, commercial, or publication purposes without further notice or compensation
• This assignment of rights survives account deletion — submitted data that has been processed, anonymized, or incorporated into datasets will not be removed
• Submissions may be reviewed by administrators for quality validation

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit fraudulent, low-quality, or fabricated data to earn XP
• Manipulate leaderboard rankings or XP systems through dishonest means
• Harass, abuse, or behave inappropriately toward other users or team members
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation

6. Teams and Competition

Team membership, XP points, achievements, and leaderboard rankings are managed at our discretion. We reserve the right to adjust scores, revoke achievements, or modify team standings if we determine that any rules have been violated or data has been submitted fraudulently.

7. Intellectual Property

The InkRacer platform, including its design, code, branding, and content, is the property of InkRacer. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform without our written permission.

All submitted handwriting images, forms, and derived data become the intellectual property of InkRacer upon submission. InkRacer holds all copyrights and ownership rights to submitted content and may exercise these rights without restriction.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. XP points, achievements, and leaderboard rankings have no monetary value.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InkRacer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data or XP points.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, though submitted handwriting data may be retained per our Privacy Policy.
