• Platform activity: XP points, achievement progress, submission history, streaks, and leaderboard rankings.
• Usage data: Basic information about how you interact with the platform, such as pages visited and features used.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the InkRacer platform
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Track and display your XP, achievements, and leaderboard standings
• Manage team membership, scores, and competition features
• Process and validate your handwriting form submissions
• Communicate with you about your account or platform updates

Anonymous Data Collection and Use

By using the Platform, you consent to your submitted data (including handwriting images and form submissions) being collected, anonymized, and used by InkRacer for any purpose, including but not limited to research, commercial products, academic publications, machine learning and AI training, and derivative works. Anonymized data may be shared with third parties, published, sold, or licensed without further notice or compensation to you. InkRacer owns all copyrights and intellectual property rights to submitted images and data upon submission.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information in the following circumstances:

• Public profile data: Your display name, team, XP, and achievements may be visible to other platform users via leaderboards and team pages.
• Service providers: We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting, database services).

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Submitted handwriting data, images, and any derived datasets are retained indefinitely and remain the property of InkRacer even after account deletion. Data that has been anonymized, processed, or incorporated into datasets will not be removed upon account deletion.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Please note that deleting your account may not remove previously submitted handwriting data that has already been processed.

8. Third-Party Services

We use Google OAuth for authentication. Your use of Google's sign-in service is subject to Google's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We only receive the profile information described above and do not access any other Google account data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
